A little romance, a little wine and a little bit of doing good — it’s all on the calendar for Riverstone residents this month.
The first Riverstone event — a blood drive happening Feb. 11 — is actually open to the public. The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will have a donation bus parked at the Creekstone Village Recreation Center 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to accept donations. Snacks will be provided and each donor will receive a hooded sweatshirt for their gift of life. Pre-register by emailing lifestyledirector@riverstone.com.
Riverstone’s next event makes for the perfect Valentine’s Day date. Twenty tickets have been reserved for residents to see “Romeo & Juliet” 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Imperial Theatre at Sugar Land Town Square. Queen Theatre is presenting the classic play with several modern-day twists. Tickets are $15 each. Two couples can enjoy a VIP evening that includes front row love seats, wine or champagne, Valentine’s Day treats and a commemorative photo for $150 a couple. For more information visit www.queentheatre.org. Residents can purchase the reserved tickets or the public can purchase remaining tickets by phoning 832-539-1109.
Finally, Riverstone residents can learn more about boutique wines at a Riverstone Wine Tasting event slated for 7-9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at the HEB at Sienna Plantation. Limited space is available. Tickets are $30 and are available at the Riverstone Information Center.
