When it comes to keeping residents engaged with plenty to do, it’s been busy in Riverstone.
The most exciting news is our new Lifestyle Director — make that “award-winning Lifestyle Director!” Solomon Delaney is making a return to Riverstone after working as Director of Fun at our sister community of Jordan Ranch. While there, he picked up the Houston’s Best PRISM Award for Lifestyle Director of the Year from the Greater Houston Builders Association.
Before winning awards at Jordan Ranch, he served as Assistant Lifestyle Director at Riverstone in 2016. He says he’s happy to be back and can’t wait to put his fun spin on events here in the community.
“I am excited to be back at Riverstone and look forward to bringing my talents to the team here,” Solomon said. “It really feels like a full circle.”
Amenity Updates
Residents are already loving Riverstone’s newest amenity — a sand volleyball court. The court is located next to the splash pad at The Club at Riverstone and is perfect for a quick, casual game or something more competitive. There might even be enough interest to launch a resident sand volleyball league!
The Waterpark at Riverstone has also gotten a major overhaul during the offseason, and crews are working hard to have everything complete by opening weekend this Memorial Day. The renovations include:
Not to be left out, the tennis courts are getting all new windscreens this May and the lights are being replaced this summer. We’ve reached out to a leading sports lighting company — Musco — for this upgrade. Found in sports arenas around the world, Musco lighting has a reputation for trouble-free operation and long-term reliability.
Finally, facility rentals have resumed at Riverstone after a pandemic-related break. Facilities available to rent include the Live Oak Ballroom at The Club at Riverstone and park pavilions at The Club Event Lawn and Avalon Central Park.
If you’ve been looking for the perfect party site for a birthday celebration or family reunion AND you’re a Riverstone resident — you’re in luck! Only residents can rent these facilities.
If you’re not lucky enough to live in Riverstone but would like access to the active lifestyle and the many perks of living in our community, talk to our builders. They’ll be glad to help you make the move to Riverstone so you can also join in on the fun.
