As many Riverstone residents know, there’s more to Sugar Land Town Square than premier shopping and tasty restaurants. The 1,400,000-square foot, mixed-use complex hosts fitness classes, films and family-friendly events all year long in the plaza. Here’s a list of remaining April events we think you’re going to love.
Friday Fitness in the Plaza
Bring a friend and prepare to sweat at free fitness classes happening every Friday, including Boot Camp with Cida Fitness from 9-10 a.m., Mommy & Me with Inspired Fitness from 9:30
10:30 a.m. and Zumba with Cida Fitness from 10-11 a.m.
Children’s Music Class in the Park
10-10:45 a.m. Thurs., April 22
The plaza will ring with song as Vivaldi Music Academy welcomes children ages 1-5 for a morning of singing and dancing. This month’s theme is “Music Across the Map” and there will be a special flute performance demonstrating how birds sing.
Eric Demmer Band
7:30-9:30 p.m. Fri., April 23
Bring lawn chairs and blankets to the plaza, then sit back and enjoy mix of funky blues and jazz led by saxophonist/vocalist Eric Demmer.
Texas Eagles
7:30-9:30 p.m. Sat., April 24
Houston’s premier Eagles tribute band will perform heartfelt ballads and rock anthems.
Salsa on the Square with Angelucho’s CopaCabana
7:30-9:30 p.m. Sat., April 30
Red hot salsa music is the order of the day when Angel “Angelucho” Bermudez turns up to play vibrant interpretations of the hot modern Latin rhythms.
