Road racers, prepare to join the peloton because the Brazos Bike Rally is racing toward Riverstone Saturday, April 3.
The popular bike race is back, offering casual and serious cyclists a chance to engage in some powerful pedal action through some of the most scenic business complexes, historical landmark sites, award-winning designed neighborhoods, and master-planned parks, in Fort Bend.
The races start at 8 a.m. beginning and ending at Community Park, 1700 Glenn Lakes Lane, Missouri City, TX 77459. All routes will be supported with rest stops, hydration products and food to fuel the journey. The event finishes with music, food and awards to the top finishers.
Bikers can choose between 25-, 40- and 60-mile rides. Children aged 12 and up are welcome to ride the two shorter rides. Children must have the support of an adult and wear safety equipment. Register online.
Riverstone is a proud sponsor of the Brazos Bike Rally and part of the course runs through Riverstone, so if you suit up and clip in, you can enjoy our beautiful community while you ride. Of course, if you’d rather cheer on the peloton that’s okay, too!
Don’t forget, the event raises money for the City of Missouri City Bicycle Mobility and Pedestrian Plan, the City of Missouri City Parks Foundation and Missouri City Green. So you can exercise and help your community, as well.
Don’t forget your water bottle and your sunscreen. We will see you there.
