Everyone is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the event lawn at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard, for this blockbuster-themed event featuring a monster truck bounce house, face painters, balloon twisters and a very special guest. Face painters and balloon twisters will be on-site 5:30-7:30 p.m. The guest arrives at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:15 p.m.
While children explore the activities, parents can line up at any of the five food trucks available to purchase pre-movie meals.
Let your taste buds take a tropical trip to the Caribbean where jerk chicken and pork are the stars of the Cool Runnings menu. Or dig into spätzle and schnitzel by The Sauerkraut Food Truck. Twisted Catfish will serve up catfish tacos, po’boys and coconut shrimp. Renegade Kitchen & Catering returns with a Texas bistro menu. Mary Had A Little Party will offer up ice cream and milkshakes.
With school starting on Aug. 14, don’t miss this chance to enjoy some quality family time. In fact, why not make it a date for September and October, too?
The next Bite Nite Fridays are scheduled for Sept. 13 and Oct. 11. Trucks are subject to change. Fido can come but he must be well-behaved and on his leash. Some trucks may be cash-only, so stop at the ATM on the way.
