Have a Coke, a picture with Santa and a smile when the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan pulls into Riverstone Thursday, Dec. 6.
The 18-wheel semi-truck, decorated with 25,000 twinkling lights, will be at the Kroger in The Villages at Riverstone, 18861 S. University Boulevard, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The free event is open to the public and families will have the opportunity to visit with the classic Santa Claus created for Coca-Cola ads in 1931. Santa will pose for free photos that will be printed onsite.
The illuminated vehicles have been appearing in towns around the world for two decades and have become an international symbol of holiday happiness. The iconic trucks are based on the magical vehicles created in 1995 by ad agency W.B. Doner & Co. for a seasonal Coca-Cola campaign.
If you have not had a chance to experience our new Kroger, make plans to grab a made-to-order gourmet pizza through Pizza Romana or a chicken mean from The Chicken Co. to enjoy after your visit with St. Nick.
Kick off the holiday season, make an evening of it with the help of Coke, Kroger and Riverstone.
