Get Peeling, Crawfish Boil Returns April 21

It’s time to get peeling because Houston’s Coolest Crawfish Boil is returning to Riverstone on Saturday, April 21, from noon to 4 p.m.

We will be dispensing 5,000 pounds of the succulent crustaceans at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard. Everyone who comes out will receive a bucket with about 2.5 pounds of crawfish, corn, potato and all beef sausage while supplies last. Beverages will be available for purchase including craft beer and wine for adults 21 and older.

The Cajun party doesn’t stop at lunch, though. We will be adding some “N’awlins” fun with Houston-based band Bayou Roux who will be playing a gumbo mix of Zydeco, Cajun, country, pop and blues music.

Rounding out the party will be activities and games including a 40-foot tall Blue Crush giant slide, 60-foot dual-lane obstacle course, junior world sport 5-in-1 game, a bungee run, bounce houses, tug-of-war, face painters and more.

Not a crawfish fan? Not to worry, because Renegade Kitchen & Catering will be on hand with Texas bistro cuisine for purchase, as will the sweet and savory egg roll stylings of Saucy Nosh Food Truck. Satisfy your sweet tooth with frozen treats from Frios Gourmet Pops and Mary Had a Little Party.

During the event, all 18 of our gorgeous model homes will be open, so stop by to see the latest in architectural design, home décor and landscaping. Need more inspiration? Visit more than 170 “drool-worthy” model homes and nearly 500 inventory homes in 14 Johnson Development communities across the Houston area this month. Homes will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.
