Just Around the Corner — a New Kroger

Start stocking up on those reusable shopping bags because construction is underway on Riverstone’s beautiful new Kroger.

Located at University Boulevard and the LJ Parkway, the 100,000-square-foot grocery store will anchor The Village at Riverstone shopping center.

This will be the first grocery store located inside our community, which will make stopping off for a ready-to-serve meal or a quart of milk on the way home from work that much easier.

The store will feature an in-house Starbucks, a specialty cheese shop and all of the fresh produce, breads and meats you have come to expect. In addition, the new store will offer ClickList, an online grocery ordering service allowing you to shop online for whatever you need and then pick it up later at the store. Kroger associates will even bring out your order and load it into your car. Now that’s convenient!

We are looking forward to its grand opening in the fall. We also are looking forward to shopping at The Village of Riverstone, which is a 165,000-square-foot shopping center also slated to be complete in the fall. The Village will complement the existing retail found around Riverstone along Highway 6. And no worries, the Kroger at Highway 6 and University Boulevard will remain open.
