Riverstone Gets Cool with Hot Crawfish Boil April 29

Join the cool cats at the hottest crawfish boil this side of the Gulf of Mexico, during Houston’s Coolest Crawfish Boil on April 29 from noon to 4 p.m. at Riverstone.

We are getting our Cajun on with buckets full of spicy crawfish, corn, potatoes and all- beef sausages at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard. Craft beer and wine will be available for purchase to wash it down — sodas and water for the under-21 crowd. The feast is free, while supplies last.

While chowing down, enjoy the traditional sounds of Louisiana laced with an urban vibe as Step Rideau & The Zydeco Outlaws keep the party hopping with classic rhythm and blues, jazz and old Creole folk songs.

There’s fun and adventure for everyone with a 100-foot zip line, an extreme quad bungee jump and an opportunity to experience the excitement of parachuting with The Airborne Adventure. Other activities include a rock-climbing wall, a Junior World Sport five-in-one game, a wrecking ball, a two-lane obstacle course, bounce houses, a toddler playground, face painters and balloon twisters.

While you are there, tour 19 lavishly decorated model homes as part of Houston’s Largest Home Tour, sponsored by Riverstone developer Johnson Development Corp. The tour encourages the public to visit hundreds of homes, including 150 models in 14 Johnson communities throughout April.
