Drift into Riverstone for Kayaking Fun April 15

Paddle on over to Riverstone for kayaking and picnicking during Kayak on the Lake Saturday, April 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Riverstone is teaming up with Houston-based Fishing Tackle Unlimited for the popular event that allows the public to kayak on Lake Riverstone and try out a variety of watercraft.

Kayaks by Hobie, Native Watercraft, Perception and Wilderness can be taken for a spin, and brand experts will be on hand to share information and expertise.

The event is free and no registration is required, but children must have parents present. All participants must sign a liability waiver. Event-goers can park at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard.

This year’s Kayak on the Lake is one of many events open to the public during Houston’s Largest Home Tour. The tour, sponsored by Riverstone developer Johnson Development Corp., encourages the public to visit hundreds of homes, including 150 models in 14 Johnson communities throughout April.

Twenty models in Riverstone will be open for touring. The public can return to Riverstone April 29 for Houston’s Coolest Crawfish Boil.
