Riverstone is throwing a birthday bash of epic proportions and everyone is invited to join the party on Saturday, Sept. 24.
The master-planned community is celebrating 15 years as one of Texas’ top-selling communities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard, with free food, live entertainment and family-friendly fun.
Guests will feast on Spring Creek Barbecue’s sliced brisket and smoked turkey sandwiches — compliments of Riverstone — as well as traditional sides such as potato salad, beans, pickles, peppers and onions. Dessert will feature sugar cookies and ice cream bars. Tea and lemonade will be available free of charge and wine, craft beers, soda and water will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol is permitted.
Leading rounds of “Happy Birthday” and playing 70s funk and classic rock will be The Grateful Geezers followed by Mary Sarah, semi-finalist on NBC’s The Voice. Inflatables, face painters and balloon twisters will keep young partygoers entertained.
The event is free and open to the public. General parking is available alongside one lane of University Boulevard, across the road in an unbuilt neighborhood and down Winding Waters Lane. Handicap parking will be available at The Club at Riverstone.
Sponsors for the event include First Choice Emergency Room and Republic Services.
Riverstone began home sales in 2001 with eight production and custom builders offering a variety of designs on land purchased by Johnson Development Corp. in 1999.
