More than 2,000 people enjoyed gorgeous weather, live music and 5,000 pounds of free Creole-spiced crawfish during Houston’s Swankiest Crawfish Boil, April 23.
The menu included other delectable dishes, such as sweet summer corn, savory potatoes and seasoned smoked beef sausage. “Chopped” champion Craft Burger food truck and Bahama Bucks also were on-site offering tasty fare. An assortment of wines and craft beers were available for purchase from No Label Brewery, St. Arnold Brewery and Karbach Brewery.
More than a dozen inflatables kept children occupied, as did face painters, balloon artists and a laser tag area. “Cajun Commotion” band Bayou Roux provided live music.
The Crawfish Boil is just one of the many community events planned for Riverstone by director of fun, Nick Deacon and his team. In addition to allowing residents an opportunity to come together and enjoy good food and good company, the public event showcased Riverstone’s engaging lifestyle as part of Houston’s Largest Home Tour.
