Bargain hunters will be able to find a treasure trove of items during Riverstone’s semi-annual garage sale 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17.
A variety of clothes, furniture, toys, books, games, kitchenware and more will be sold at the Creekstone Village Recreation Center, 5438 Creekstone Village Drive. More than 50 families are expected to participate.
“Our group garage sales benefit everyone, not just residents,” said Nick Deacon, lifestyle director for Riverstone. “You can pick up some wonderful things at bargain-basement prices, of course, but you are also keeping unwanted items out of landfills.”
In addition to helping the environment, residents will be assisting the Fort Bend County Women’s Center, which will have a truck on-site for unsold items.
The garage sale is open to the public.
Riverstone is the state’s top-selling master-planned community and offers homes priced from the $300,000s to the millions.
