Sales in Riverstone exploded last year, with final tallies showing new-home sales 100 percent greater than the previous year, earning Riverstone a No. 3 spot on the list of top-selling Houston master-planned communities and a No. 7 spot on the nation’s list of top developments.
And the good news is there’s more to come in 2013.
Already sales are off to a brisk start, with 48 home sales reported during the first four weeks of the year, an increase of 85 percent over last year. Builders are moving into new neighborhoods, crews are starting work on the new water park debuting in 2014 and the University Boulevard extensions will open soon. Riverstone also is adding Sitterle Homes to its builder list this spring, marking the San Antonio-based home-building company’s first project in the Houston area. Sitterle will offer garden homes priced from the $200,000s in the new Providence neighborhood.
Finally, expect a busy April as Riverstone joins six other Johnson Development communities in “Houston’s Largest Home Tour.” An aggressive marketing campaign will invite the public to tour model and inventory homes in the seven participating developments weekends in April.
